Jonesborough, TN Wedding Venue
Cherokee Creek Farm
Cherokee Creek Farm is a historic wedding venue in Jonesborough, TN, set on a 23-acre estate. The property features a restored 1830 farmhouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, offering overnight accommodations. The venue includes a 7,000-square-foot Creekside Barn, built from hemlock wood, with climate control, a wood-burning fireplace, and spacious restrooms. The barn’s white-washed poplar walls provide a clean, rustic backdrop for events. The farm also has multiple outdoor spaces, including mature beautiful trees and a stone column bridge, offering various settings for ceremonies, receptions, and photography.
As a photographer who specializes in capturing editorial portraits and documentary-style moments to create timeless and romantic imagery, my goal is to capture the real, joyful, and in-the-moment energy of your wedding day—because how you feel is just as important as how everything looks. Cherokee Creek Farm is the perfect place for this, with its gorgeous outdoor spaces and historic home that is beautiful both on the inside and outside. Whether it's a quiet, private vows under the trees or a full-on dance floor celebration, this venue gives me endless opportunities to document all the fun, love, and excitement exactly as it happens!
The Venue Owner
Meet Angie Lemmon, owner of Cherokee Creek Farm. When I first reached out to Angie, I immediately felt so comfortable talking to her. The love she has for the venue and the history behind it all is inspiring. It was a true joy getting to hear her share the story and history of how this Jonesborough TN Wedding Venue came to be.
Fun fact: I mentioned to her that I collected wedding dresses the day I met her, and ended up buying 18 vintage wedding dresses from her just a few weeks later! Talk about a kindred spirit!
