I’m an East Tennessee based photographer on a mission to make being in front of the camera un-complicated, carefree, and FUN.
My name is Melissa, but I’ll answer to Mel (and secretly love it when people call me that!)
I am married to my best friend and we have four of the most adorable children that make me question my sanity while giving me the greatest joy all at once. On most days, you can find me at home, in the kitchen cooking, having a dance party with my kiddos, mowing the lawn (my favorite chore!) editing photos, and trying to conquer Mount Laundry (where do all the socks go?!)
I have a heart for community and am always up for a last minute evening to eat pizza down by the river with people that love well, play hard, and live for Jesus!
My entire mission for the time you spend in front of the camera is to create a space of relaxed, enjoyable connection that brings out the best in you and the ones you love most.
Yes we will grab a few “over the mantle” photos. You know, the kind where everyone is looking at the camera with perfect smiles and placed in exactly the right position?
BUT, most of our evening will consist of good conversation, laughter (I guarantee it!) and moments of joy you experience between you and the people you love most, captured in a way that you will treasure forever.
