“Could we take pictures with my dad’s airplane at the airport?” Umm, YES!! 

Something like how our conversation went while planning Katie and Nate’s engagement photos…I had never shot at an airport before, but I was SOOOO excited to have the opportunity to! It’s not every day that a client has a Dad with a plane to take photos with, so I was ALL in when the idea was brought up. The actual day of the shoot was INCREDIBLY rainy. Like, steady drizzle. But somehow we managed to get out on the runway and create some magic before a total downpour! These cuties were eeeasy to shoot. Mainly because you could tell they just really liked each other. 

Katie and Nate didn’t stop smiling the entire time, and that’s saying something for it being such lousy weather for your engagement photos! I feel like it also proves the point that you just have to focus on each other in your photo sessions. Not the weather, not the stress you might be feeling, not the wedding details that are always buzzing around in your head, nope. Eachother. Because when you’re focused on each other, it will ensure that you can make magic even in the worst of weather circumstances!
