Want to know what my favorite kind of shoot is?? When the couple has a specific spot they want to take their photos because it’s special to them.

That’s exactly what we did with Abbi and Joe’s engagement photos! They love to go to Paint Creek for date nights. Joe usually fishes, while Abbi enjoys the fresh air and dipping her toes into the cold mountain streams.

Joe took us to all the “best kept secret” spots and they did not disappoint! The sun shining through the dense green forest made for the perfect backdrop. Not only were our surroundings completely gorgeous, but the actual evening was so much fun too. We laughed, we talked about life, we all tripped about a million times while trying to wade through the creek, and even managed to avoid completely falling into the water the whole night! 

We ended with what Joe loves to do, fishing. I can just imagine them looking back on these photos years from now with their kids knowing that this is exactly what Dad and Mom looked like on date night. It was an incredible evening and a perfect way to end a beautiful night with one of my favorite couples!
