A Sunrise Session

When Mylie and Matthew said they wanted to do a sunrise session at their wedding venue, Oak Meadows Farm, I said HECK YES! There’s something so beautiful and soft about the sun coming up in the morning. It feels hopeful. And it was sooo beautiful. We walked and talked all morning around this gorgeous venue. 

Since this was the first time I had met them in person, I was able to see for myself how much these two really love each other. The way he teased her was precious. She would roll her eyes and smile. I imagine her thinking about how she knew he would more than likely be cracking those types of jokes for years to come and she wasn’t one bit mad about it. Mylie started the session in a beautiful, flowy, blue dress. A perfect compliment to the surroundings that Oak Meadows has to offer. Halfway through the session, they changed into jeans and a t-shirt so we could run around in the rolling hills behind the barn to capture some truly candid magic. It was lovely and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in September!!
